where creativity meets business
Something that has always been close to my heart is guiding people to financial confidence. Over the years, I've met countless creatives who have incredible talent and big dreams of turning their passion into an actual business but feel completely overwhelmed when it comes to the financial and business side of making it official.
That is exactly where I want to help. What are my credentials?
I've spent the last 10 years managing a financial institution, where I've had the opportunity to work alongside and support small business owners as they start up, build, and grew their businesses. Now, I want to bring that experience into the creative industry. This mentorship is about more than photography, sure we will talk editing, posing techniques, etc. However, it's more about helping you understand the business behind your creativity so you can stop second guessing yourself and start moving forward with confidence.

Let's make your business OFFICIAL. aka registering your business in the state of Florida! (The investment fee includes officially registering your business so you don't have to worry about additional fees.)
EIN- business banking and separating business & personal finances.
Business insurance guidance- Let's talk about how you can protect yourself and your equipment. (You also need this for most wedding venues if you are actively booking weddings and if you haven't needed it yet... you have simply gotten "lucky").
How to stay organized so tax season isn't stressful.
From understanding the financial basics, to tracking business expenses, preparing for tax season, building sustainable systems, and navigating the realities of being a creative entrepreneur, I will help you build a foundation you can actually grow from.

Get organized, set up your business foundations, expenses, workflows and client processes.
I will also share an excel spreadsheet I utilize for my business that allows you to manually track your mileage, expenses, etc. (it literally does the work for you.)

Will we learn about posing and people skills during mentorship?
Yes! I will share all of my favorite prompts and posing techniques and ways to help make your clients feel comfortable during your sessions.
Who is this workshop designed for?
This is specifically designed for both the creative just starting out, but also for the creatives that have been taking clients unregistered and have been lost at how to go about making their business official.
Will there be live photo sessions with models or just demos?
I strongly feel the optimal way to learn in this industry is to get hands on experience. This portion will be hands on (wedding or couples/family session) unless you prefer to learn via zoom.
What happens after I book a mentorship?
I want this process to be easy so you can continue creating art without worrying about what to do after our call. A questionnaire will be sent after booking that will ask for information that will help me tailor your experience based on your needs.
